What do you get when you mix a group of energetic young people, a live DJ, a little bit of techno, some live rock bands, and a mosh pit with relevant discussions and teachings about living faith-filled and purposeful lives?   Concrete!

Concrete is a two-and-a-half-hour quarterly, seeker-friendly approach to reach out to young people (ages 12-17) with a message of faith, love, service, and life success strategies.  We create a fun, entertaining, and media-driven environment where kids can hear live bands perform original, faith-based music from hip-hop to heavy metal; engage in fun competitions like our version of Fear Faktor that always leaves a new taste in the mouth and makes for ridiculous fun; participate in open mic times and express raw emotions and thoughts through song or poetry; and watch videos that relate to issues relevant to today’s teenager.  We also have inspiring and motivating speakers who challenge students to experience positive change and tackle big questions.

We understand that today’s young people need a creative and safe place where they can hang out with their friends while being challenged to live faith-filled and purposeful lives.  Concrete provides just that.  There are no denominational discussions or judgments towards individual views on faith or God.  The emphasis is to introduce students to Jesus and His teachings allowing them to make their own minds up about what they believe to be true.  We just want kids to connect with one another and God in deep and meaningful ways using Concrete as an expressive, positive, and encouraging outlet and emotional retreat.
