What is the purpose of the campaign?
- As Christians, we are called to expand God’s Kingdom and we believe that God will bless us if we are bold enough to take action. As The Life Christian Church grows into the future, we have the opportunity to be part of the group that builds our future mission center – touching lives and introducing more people to a life centered on God. The Love Project is inspired by John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son…” Our prayer is that we will love God’s world so much that we will give so people will know Christ.
How will building help us reach our community for Christ?
- Our church is thriving and growing. We are fulfilling our mission “to inspire people to grow in their life with God…” The issue we face is simply this – we are running out of room. We are inspiring many people and believe we are called to inspire many more. The new TLCC building will accommodate and attract a larger cross section of our community and allow us to offer a vastly expanded array of pastoral and leadership teaching, spiritual care and fellowship opportunities.
How will we pay for this?
- Even in the midst of a challenging worldwide economic climate, we believe that faith and prayer will lead us to our ultimate goal. Our mission-expansion campaign will challenge each of us to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment over the next three years to build The Life Christian Church at 747 Northfield Avenue.
How can I help?
- We are asking all those who love Christ and the mission of The Life Christian Church to pray and to commit to financially support The Love Project over the next three years. This commitment needs to be over and above our regular tithes and offerings, which provide the operational funds to do our ministry on a day-to-day basis.
