What to Expect

We at The Life Christian Church know that it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time.  That is why we love to make our guests feel comfortable and right at home.  When you visit us, you’ll be greeted by friendly people.  You’ll be invited to join us at The Life Café before each Weekend Celebration for a warm cup of cappuccino, pastries and other light fare.  Your children will also be treated special.  They will be nurtured in our KidZone classes or cared for in our BabyZone Nursery.

You’ll notice we have no dress code.  You’ll see a wide variety of attire from relatively dressy to very casual.  Just come as you are. We just want you to be comfortable.

Our church family is as diverse as our style of dress.  We are a culturally relevant, multi-ethnic, and trans-generational congregation who share a love for God and people.

Our Celebrations are about ninety minutes long and include a dynamic time of singing together and entertaining performances using a blend of music styles.  Often, there is a dramatic sketch or a multimedia presentation exploring the weekend’s theme that may move you to tears or cause you to howl with laughter.

Pastor Terry Smith consistently delivers his talks in a conversational style, with teachings that pertain to everyday life—real life issues such as making decisions, handling difficulties effectively, negotiating work and family relationships, navigating success, and achieving personal goals. Our services end with a reflective song and prayer.  We usually invite folks, who want to, to stay in the worship center a little longer to meditate, think, or even to talk to or pray with one of our prayer counselors.

Come join us.  We think you just might feel at home in our supportive spiritual community.
