OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

  • You may give during any Weekend Celebration
  • Mail your gift in one of our postage paid envelopes to the TLCC office.
  • Give through your online bill pay functionality, available through most bank checking accounts.
  • Automate your giving by mailing a completed Automated Debit Form to the TLCC office. You can download an Automated Debit Form here.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE MONEY WE GIVE?
God provides for the ministry of The Life Christian Church through your tithes and offerings. We honor your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of The Life Christian Church remains beyond reproach.

WHAT IS YOUR POSITION ON THE USE OF CREDIT CARDS FOR GIVING?
We encourage the use of a debit card because it is directly connected to the bank account, like writing a check, but much more convenient. The reality is that many people prefer to use a credit card. We encourage them to pay their credit card bill in full each month. Doing so is an indication of good stewardship.

IS ONLINE GIVING RISKY?
It is certainly less risky than writing checks or carrying cash. To process electronic donations, the church uses Vanco Services, LLC—an established and highly-regarded company that moves funds directly from church members to the church on the date of your choosing. Vanco processes contributions for more than 10,000 churches and nonprofit organizations. The online giving registration form requires you to give us contact information like your name and email address. This information is stored in your profile in a secure environment separate from our website.

WHAT THE BIBILE SAYS ABOUT GIVING.
The Bible says that every believer should give a minimum of 10% of their income, or a tithe, to the local church. The tithe is the foundation of the Biblical principle of giving. It was instituted through the faith of Abraham and it is something that Jesus said we ought to do. Anything over 10% is called an offering and is a way to honor God through giving sacrificially. The Bible says more about giving than Heaven, prayer, or even, faith! Here is just a sample of what God says about giving:

FAITHFUL GIVING DRAWS ME CLOSER TO GOD.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21

FAITHFUL GIVING IS THE KEY TO A FULL LIFE.
“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.” – 1 Timothy 6:18-19

FAITHFUL GIVING BLESSES ME IN RETURN.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” – Malachi 3:10

FAITHFUL GIVING IS REWARDING.
“…It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35

FAITHFUL GIVING REMINDS ME THAT EVERYTHING BELONGS TO GOD.
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth…” – Deuteronomy 8:18

FAITHFUL GIVING IS MEANS OF WORSHIP.
“Give not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7
