Week 3 of the “Break Free” series. This weekends talk is preceded by a video entitled “A Man Disappointed”, a stark look into the mind of the “every man” who has faced disappointment at some time in his or her life. Pastor Terry gives a moving message about the disappointment we each face in our own lives. He speaks about the path of disappointment, which leads to anger, resentment, and bitterness. Using various passages from the Bible, Pastor Terry teaches how trusting in God is the only way that we can overcome the disappointments of life, knowing that He will work all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to his purpose. The message is closed with a powerful story about Peter and Jesus, a story that has deep and significant meaning for the life of anyone who follows Christ.
