KidZone

At The Life Christian Church, we believe that kids of any age can know and experience God and we’re excited that we get to partner with parents in teaching kids how to live life God’s way.  Whether your child is an infant or preparing to enter middle-school, our fun-filled environment will provide a safe, inviting atmosphere where positive and lasting impressions can be made in the lives of your children.

KidZone is open during all of our weekend celebrations and serves newborns through grade 6.  Here is what we offer for each class:

BabyZone

The nursery provides a safe, welcoming, and peaceful atmosphere where infants are cared for and nurtured by loving caregivers.

Preschool

Preschoolers are taught using Lil’K, an interactive multimedia-based curriculum.  Lil’K incorporates a teaching video, a sing-a-long worship song in music video form, and a Bible verse with fun, memorable movements.  Preschoolers also participate in fun, active, Bible-learning activities and a craft that helps preschoolers connect the lesson objective to their lives.

Elementary

Children in Kindergarten through Grade 4 participate in an interactive and engaging lesson experience that aligns with the themes and topics that grown-ups hear about in “big church,” facilitating lots of opportunities for family discussions and shared learning.  A typical Elementary KidZone service begins with a fun time of games and activities, allowing kids the opportunity to connect with their peers and a caring small group leader.  This is followed by a time of praise and worship and an engaging lesson that might include skits, role plays, object lessons, or hands-on activities.  Then, students break-out into small groups, divided by age and facilitated by an adult leader, and participate in discussions, reflections, and activities that help them make connections and applications from the lesson to their everyday lives and develop an authentic relationship with Christ.

Zone 56

In KidZone, fifth and sixth graders have their own special space. After joining in the worship celebration in the main auditorium, they will then go into their own lesson time, facilitated by a high school or college student leader.  There, fifth and sixth graders will experience developmentally appropriate lessons, activities, and discussions that align with the themes and topics that adults hear about in “big church.”
