As Executive Director at TLCC, it’s my responsibility to oversee the daily operations. Our incredible team is fabulous at what they do and I’m around to “direct traffic.” Another task for me is to help take Pastor Terry’s vision and make it happen. Unlike most people, I love to “dig in the weeds” and focus on details. I specialize in “stuff” that isn’t much fun, but is essential to organizational success. Finally, I am responsible for the “Learn” portion of the TLCC mission statement. My role here is to oversee the ongoing development and execution of the adult learning that takes place at TLCC.

I received my undergraduate degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministry from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. My career path detoured into healthcare, where I’ve managed billing departments and clinics, consulted, and taught in a variety of settings. Along the way, I earned a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Des Moines University and an MBA from the University of Iowa. I just finished a textbook entitled, “Ethics in Medical Coding: Theory and Practice,” and hope to promote that across the country.
I am blessed with my wife Mary Lou (with whom I work) and my daughters Katelyn and Emily. Our family is completed by our two dachshunds, Cookie and Sommer (or as I call them affectionately, “Whiny” and “Stupid.”)

Bart & Tricia Dyer
Interim Youth Leaders
send me an email 973.731.7744 x115
We are honored and excited to be leading the youth of TLCC! We were the youth leaders of close to 200 teenagers in Houston, TX almost 20 years ago, right after we were married and definitely have a heart for today’s teens. We founded and developed Life Youth Choir and took them on several tours within the states and even through parts of Europe. Our goal for TLCC Youth is to provide some steady, foundational leadership during a process where we are praying and searching for our next individual or couple who will continue to help our teens grow, learn, live and lead in their schools, homes and communities. We’ll be leading this summer’s mission trip to Ghana, Africa and we host ReFuel every Wednesday night at the Worship Center with a great team of adult youth leaders.

(Bart) – I grew up in the central Ohio and ended up here in NJ after travelling all over the states and parts of Europe, singing and leading worship in various churches and other venues. I have a Bachelor of Theology degree from Kent Christian College, where I was also very active in the music program. I’ve been married to my beautiful and talented wife, Tricia for almost 20 years (!) – who helps me lead worship every weekend – and we have two awesome sons –Seth and Hayden.
(Tricia) – I was born in Atlantic City and raised in Dover, DE with 4 older sisters and one younger brother. This is also where I attended Kent Christian College, graduated with a Bachelor of Music Studies degree and met, fell in love and married my college sweetheart, Bart. We moved straight to Houston and led a youth group there for almost four years before moving to and settling in Columbus, OH where we lived for nearly 13 years. In Columbus we expanded our family by two with birth of our two wonderfully talented boys, Seth and Hayden. I am blessed and honored to be able to sing, serve and lead every weekend along-side my family (Seth plays the guitar in many of the weekend celebrations each week) and a fantastic group of volunteer singers and musicians.

I oversee everything related to music, as well as our weekend celebrations. If it happens in the worship center on the weekends, I’m guy ultimately responsible for it – although I work with an incredible Creative Team who make most of the cool stuff happen – and of course, we couldn’t do anything we do without the awesome group of volunteers we have! I feel amazingly blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love for my job!
