Chaplain Willie Alfonso, Chaplain for the New York Yankees, New Jersey Nets, and Staten Island Yankees, inspires and encourages a highly visible group of professional athletes, leaders and mentors.
The New York City Leadership Center provides high level training for social sector and ministry leaders in order to hone the skills necessary to effect radical change in our cities, nation and world.
Mastermedia provides spiritual support and fosters a genuine Christian worldview to media executives in New York City, who in turn, have tremendous influence on American culture.
New York City Relief is an innovative mobile ministry and service organization that feeds the poor and homeless in New York City and New Jersey.
Holy Trinity–West Orange Food Pantry provides groceries that feed hundreds of families who are struggling with unemployment and underemployment.
Christine’s Soup Kitchen provides a delicious meal and companionship every Saturday to those living at the poverty level in West Orange.
Relay for Life is a community-wide, annual event held at West Orange High School. This inspirational event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and raises money for research and education to eradicate cancer.
Pride Academy Charter School, in partnership with The Cotchery Foundation, is a tuition free, private, middle school serving families in Newark, Orange, and East Orange.
St. Michael’s Hospital is a primary recipient of the TLCC Thanksgiving food basket drive that provides complete Thanksgiving meals to families living in low income areas and dealing with medical issues.
The Valentine House provides transitional homes for recovering addicts and alcoholics to support their successful re-entry into society and reunification with family and loved ones.
Other areas TLCC has served:
- St. Bridget’s House, Newark, which provides housing and supportive services to homeless men living with HIV/AIDS.
- Academy Street Firehouse, Newark, which addresses the specific educational, medical and social needs of children and adolescents who have lost a parent due to AIDS.
