Awana is designed for Kindergarteners through fifth graders to deepen their Biblical knowledge and build a lasting faith. The program features large group gatherings, age-specific small groups, and engaging activities. Awana strengthens children's Biblical literacy while actively involving parents in their spiritual journey. Focusing on kids ages 4 to 14, Awana reaches them during a crucial period when they are most open to learning about Christ.

Awana will run on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm at The Life Christian Church Conference Center.

Awana's next session will launch in January 2026.

There is a $25 fee which covers books and helps offset the costs of awards, contests and other special events throughout the year.

No, you do not need to be a member or attend TLCC for your child to participate in the program. You are welcome to visit TLCC on Sunday mornings at 9am or 11am. If you are interested in becoming a member click here.

We prioritize providing the best experience for our children, so to serve them well within our limited capacity, registration closes after the first week of Awana. Registration will eventually reopen for the next semester.

Yes! Club 6, a catechism class for sixth graders runs concurrently to Awana on Wednesday nights. TLCC’s Redline Youth group for 7th through 12th graders also runs at the same time Wednesday nights.

Yes! Depending on the time of year, we either have a Grow Class or a LIFE Group that's running at the same time.

As a parent you will be responsible for ensuring that your child completes their workbook each week and brings it to Awana.

Awana meets every Wednesday night with some exceptions, depending on the year. Parents will be provided with a schedule at the start of the session launch.

Yes! The concluding program date will be announced when the next session begins.

We would love to have you join our Awana team! Because consistency is so important for kids at this age, we ask that you consider volunteering every Wednesday. If you are not able to serve every week, we ask that you serve consistently every other week.
