Church Membership

Parent/Guardian must either:

1. Be a church member,

2. Be in the process of becoming a member, or

3. Make a commitment to complete the next available Welcome To The Life Course.

Attendance

Faithful weekly attendance is strongly encouraged.

Any lessons missed due to absence will be the responsibility of the parent / guardian and student. Homework assignments for those lessons must be handed in to the instructor.

Three or more absences will jeopardize the student’s eligibility to continue the class and participate in the “Celebration of Passage”.

Yes, Monday, October 14th, 2024 is the deadline

Every Wednesday (with some breaks for holidays). The launch date for the 2025-2026 class session will be announced soon.

Yes, there is a $50 registration fee associated with the course for course materials, a formal dinner, and a personal, name engraved Bible given upon completion of the class.

This is a ceremony that takes place on Youth Sunday, during the 11am service, on stage with the Club 6 teacher, all club 6 students, Pastor Terry and Sharon Smith. The Students recite the Apostles Creed, which they have learned to memorize, their favorite memory Bible Verse, and light a candle symbolizing the passage from childhood to adulthood. The 6th graders are celebrated, prayed for, and sent out into adulthood with a blessing.

Parents / guardians are asked to:

• Provide transportation for their child(ren) to and from the class

• Provide an allergy free snack 1-2 times a year for the class

• Assist with teaching the class 1-2 times a year

Your child(ren) will need to bring a pen / pencil & a Bible to class each week. Each student will be provided with a binder that includes the lesson and other learning materials which they will be responsible to bring with them to class each week.
