This October in KPort, we’re learning the powerful truth that God never fails. Through the stories of Joshua, Deborah, Hannah and Samuel, and David and Jonathan, kids will discover that God does what He says, God is victorious, God cares about us, and God’s plan comes first. Our monthly memory verse is Luke 1:37: “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Together, we’ll learn that even when life feels uncertain, we can trust God because He is always faithful.

This Sunday in KPort, we’re learning about the beautiful friendship between David and Jonathan and what it means to put God’s plan first. Even though Jonathan was next in line to become king, he trusted God’s plan for David and courageously protected his friend. Through their story, kids will discover that God’s plans are always good and that He gives us friends and people who encourage, strengthen, and help us follow Him. We’ll also explore what it means to be a true friend and how we can encourage one another to grow closer to God.
