SERVANT'S HEART
(Construction)

Servant Heart aids local organizations in rebuilding or updating their property.

Project Details: No skill required, all are welcome to serve! Location is determined the Wednesday before.

THANKSGIVING BASKET SHOPPER

Project Details: It's never too soon to start collecting items for our annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive. Sign up to be a shopper and collect specific items on the wish list. You will be contacted by a team member to be given specific items we need and you may drop them off at TLCC on Saturday August 23rd.

BACK TO SCHOOL CARNIVAL

The Newark YMCA creates support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive.

Project Details: Join us in celebrating the end of summer with a BBQ and carnival! We will be providing bouncy houses, blow ups, and yards games for the kids to enjoy. We will be preparing and serving delicious smash burgers and hotdogs as well as cotton candy and popcorn!

COVENANT HOUSE
NEWARK BRUNCH SERVICE

Covenant House Newark is a 50 person emergency residency shelter.

Project Details: Join us in serving the residents brunch as well as creating a fun dessert bar.

STRATFORD MANOR REHABILITATION CENTER

(ENTERTAINMENT)

Stratford Manor is a full service nursing home and rehabilitation facility offering short term rehabilitation, sub-acute care, long term care with skilled nursing, respite care and hospice.

Project Details: Join our music team in providing an hour of musical entertainment (no musical skill required but welcome)!

ADOPT-A-PARK
WATCHUNG RESERVATION

Project Details: Adopt-A-Park aims to keep our parks beautiful. Spend some time outside cleaning up Watchung Reservation and taking care of the green space in our community.

PRIDE ACADEMY
BACK-TO-SCHOOL HAIRCUTS

Project Details: Pride Academy is a charter school with the mission to embolden scholars to become the creators of their own future success. Join us in getting the students of Pride Academy ready for their first day of school with fresh cuts! We will be providing donuts and coffee as well as ice cream.

NANCY'S PLACE YOUTH DINNER

Nancy's Place is a transient housing facility hosting 8 youth at a time.

Project Details: Join us in preparing a delicious dinner for the residents.

THE valentine house home restoration

Project Details: Valentine homes are self-run. self-supported, sober-living homes that help as many people re-enter society. Join us in making their living space beautiful with a fresh coat of paint.
